[CF]

DBS validates the email address by the below regex:

A picture containing text
Description automatically generated

First part of address + Middle part of address.

Explanation:

1. First part (Yellow), can contain a combination of any numbers and letters, dot, dash, plus, and underscore. Anything else is invalid (Yellow).

2. Second part (Turquoise), must start with ‘@’ and follow the same rules as #1.

3. Third part (Green), must start with ‘.’ and only contains 2-to-4-character long letters.

Note: for addresses ending as .co.uk, the .co is part of the 2nd section and .uk is the 3rd part, which must be between 2 and 4 letters. Example Below:

 bob
 @verifile.co
 .uk
