How often will you contact the candidate?

Modified on Fri, 23 Jan at 5:16 PM

Once an order is placed, the candidate will receive their login details via email.

The system will send reminder emails to them every seven days until they submit the form or the submission date arrives, at which point the reminders will stop.

Please note that you can update the reminder interval under your Account PreferencesPlease call the Client Service Team to discuss this option. +44 (0) 1234 339 350

Once the candidate submits their details, the process varies depending on the type of order:

  • Standard Service Orders:
We will not contact the candidate for any missing information. Instead, any required details will be requested directly from you — unless a Subject Access Request (SAR) check is ordered.

  • Enhanced Service Orders:
The candidate will receive a courtesy call after two working days, unless this option has been marked as not required.

(Please note: this service level is set up when your account is created with Verifile.)

As the check progresses, we’ll only contact the candidate if additional information is needed. Because the Verifile client portal is a live system, missing information may become apparent at any stage, prompting us to reach out.

For any missing details, we’ll attempt to contact the candidate by phone and email up to three times, with three working days between each attempt.

You’ll be copied into the third and final follow-up for visibility.
