Can I change my email address for the client portal?

If the email address linked to your Verifile account is incorrect or has recently changed, our Client Services Team can assist you in updating it.


How to Change Your Email Address for the Client Portal


Option 1: Contact Us Directly

  • Use Live Chat by clicking the Chat button (bottom right of this page).
    If the button isn’t visible, it may be outside our operating hours.

  • Alternatively, call us on +44 (0) 1234 339 300
    (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm UK time)

  • Our team will ask a few quick security questions to confirm your identity.

  • Let us know:

    • The email address you'd like to change

    • The new email address you'd like it updated to


Option 2: Request via a Registered User

If you’re unable to contact us directly, another Registered or Active user on your account can make the request for you.


They should email Client Services at: service@verifile.co.uk


Please include the following in the email:

  • The full name and current email address of the user needing the change

  • The new email address to be applied


What Happens Next

Once the update is processed:

  • You’ll receive temporary login details at the new email address

  • You’ll need to log in and immediately update your password


Note: Please ensure you copy and paste any temporary passwords without trailing spaces, as this can cause login errors.
