To check how long you have to confirm your candidate's ID, you will need to follow these steps. 

• Log into the Verifile client portal with the login details you were provided.
• Select the "Review Order" option at the top of the page.
• Search for the candidate's name or the Order Number (VFXXXXXXX) and then select the Order Number once located. 

• Once on the main order page, you will see the checks placed on the left and the Statuses or Traffic Lights on the right.
• Select the name of the check you wish to view on the left-hand side (Check Type) and then you'll see the order page for that one check.
• This would be the UK Criminal Record Check. 

•  You will then see to the right-hand side under 'Check Status' how long you have to confirm ID.
• For England & Wales UK Criminal Record checks, the time to confirm your candidate's ID is set at 90 days, unless you have a pre-agreed timescale.
