How to get set up for CIFAS checks

CIFAS is a fraud prevention service in the United Kingdom.

It is a not-for-profit membership association representing organisations from across the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Cifas states its mission is ‘to detect, deter and prevent fraud in society.

In order to complete CIFAS checks through Verifile, you will need to provide Verifile with the name of the individual who is a registered CIFAS member in your company or the company you are an agency for.

This can be done either by emailing our Customer Success Team via success@verifile.co.uk or by calling our Client Service Team on +44 (0) 1234 339 350 between 08:30-17:30 Monday to Friday (UK Time) who will raise with the Customer Succes Team internally.

If you are unaware of this individual, you will need to discuss this internally at your company to obtain this information.

Please kindly note, without this information, Verifile cannot complete CIFAS checks for your company.
