This article explains what type of information Verifile reveals during a background screening process.

Once the Check is completed, you will receive a report which can be located in the review section on the Verifile portal.

What kind of reporting can Verifile provide?

Each item below comes with its own reporting section.

Background checks can reveal various types of information depending on what information the client is looking for and the requirement to process these checks.

The primary information required comprises a candidate's personal details, such as name, date of birth, and contact details. This is required by the client and Verifile to identify candidates in order to run the background check for each individual account.

There is also other information which is required and revealed during your background checks.

To simplify this, the most common checks client's request are:

  • Criminal Record Checks
  • Financial & Credit Checks
  • Identity Checks
  • Right to Work Check
  • Any type of Employment or Voluntary Experience Checks
  • Educational Checks, e.g., Academic / Professional Qualifications
  • Open Media Checks

This means that if you have requested any of the above checks, this will reveal the information related to that check.
