This article will explain the cancellation policy and help to advise you on the stage of your check and if this will incur a charge if you cancel the order.


The breakdown below states our cancelation policy and shows the criteria for each section.

 

The following cancellation fees apply to all orders placed with Verifile: 

 

Point at which the order is cancelled 

Charges 

Orders placed online using the ‘Place a new order (candidate entry)’ option: 

The order is cancelled before the candidate has completed the online screening form and before we have made the courtesy call.

No charge 

The order is cancelled before the candidate has completed the online screening form but after we have made the courtesy call (if the option for courtesy calls pre-candidate submission has been agreed). 

 

£20.00 

The order is cancelled after the candidate has completed the online screening form, before we have made the courtesy call and before Verifile has started the screening process.

No charge 

The order is cancelled after the candidate has completed the online screening form, after we have made the courtesy call and before Verifile has started the screening process (if the option for courtesy calls pre-candidate submission has been agreed). 

£20.00 

The entire order is cancelled before the online screening form is finished and submitted. But a courtesy call (if the option for courtesy calls pre-candidate submission has been agreed) was made and the digital ID check is already completed and uploaded to the portal. 

 £20.00 + 

Full charge for Digital Check only

The order is cancelled after the candidate has completed the online screening form and after Verifile has started the screening process.

Full cost 

The entire order is cancelled before the online screening form is finished and submitted. But the digital ID check (Yoti or Post Office) is already completed and uploaded to the portal

 

Full charge for Digital Check only

If the route (Yoti or Post Office) is not done and the online screening form is not submitted but the order is cancelled. 

No charge

If the route (Yoti or Post Office) is not done and the online screening form is not submitted but the order is cancelled. Along with no courtesy call being made. 

No charge

 

Orders placed online using the ‘Place a new order’ option 

The order is cancelled before Verifile has started the screening process. 

No charge 

The order is cancelled after Verifile has started the screening process. 

Full cost 

 

Orders placed by email: 

The order is cancelled before Verifile has started the screening process.

The order is cancelled after Verifile has started the screening process.

Orders placed automatically by Verifile on your behalf according to the ‘Services and Specification’ agreement: 

The order is cancelled before Verifile has started the screening process.

No charge
