Which characters can be used in a file upload?
You should double check that your file headers only contain ASCII characters.
Only plain text can be used in your .CSV file uploads.
This means symbols and other characters that are not found in the standard alphabet or numeral sequence cannot be used. For example, Ú, æ, ∟, !, ?, ), ], } etc.
To proceed with a candidate's form, we will remove any diacritics within their name otherwise, the form will prevent the candidate from moving through the process.
The client should ideally either provide the file with transliteration or remove the diacritics before submitting.
Whilst we want to improve the experience for those who experience issues with diacritics, we have deferred this work for a future version because of certain complexities in doing so.
