How can I order a check?

What Are Checks? 


If you need to place specific checks or an individual check on the candidate, the Verifile Client Portal can help you do this.

Being able to place the correct and specific background checks allows for you to gain a deeper understanding of your candidates background, incorporating checks, such as academic, employment history, credit history and any criminal record information, helping you to decide on your candidate's suitability for the role applied for.

Background checks are crucial for you when taking on new recruits or even when screening existing employees. 

After selecting the checks needed for your candidate, you can also choose to add more checks to your selection later on. 

 

Steps

 

1. Log in to the Verifile client portal.
 

2. Click Place Order (Candidate Entry) on the toolbar.

3. This Candidate Entry order page will appear.

4. Enter the information of the candidate you wish to place the checks for.


Please note that the minimum requirements for information provided by the client should be those fields marked with a red asterisk (*)

5. Click Next.

5. Select which service type is required for your candidate.

6. Proceed to check the list below with all checks provided by Verifile.

Also select how many years of activity you wish to be covered by the candidate (this means that the candidate needs to provide proof what they were doing for that period of time with relevant activity).

 

7. You can then select which checks you want to proceed with for your candidate.

7. Click Next.


Finish & Submit


7. Please upload any relevant documents for the candidates checks.

If you do not have the documents at hand for the candidate, or are not entirely sure on what needs to be provided, then please tick the box that states I will provide the forms and supporting documents at a later stage.

This will allow you to upload documents to the candidates file at an later stage.

 

8. Please ensure that all the information provided is true and accurate.

This means providing the candidate's full legal (current) name, including any middle names. 

  •  If you  need to check or amend any information provided so far, please use the Back button to see the previous pages.


9. Once you are happy with all information provided then you can select Finish and Submit.

 

  • Once the order has been placed with checks for the candidate, the candidate will then receive login details for the candidate portal where they can proceed to complete their Background Screening form
  • Once the candidate has submitted their form we will follow our processes regarding each individual check
