Information for the new ScotAccount Online Service - PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Results Access

Modified on Mon, 9 Feb at 2:52 PM

Disclosure Scotland has recently launched a new Online Account service for PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) result access.

This online service has replaced paper certificates.

The online service is called ScotAccount and is a digital identity service developed by the Scottish Government, allowing sign-in to public services securely.

Individuals registered with the PVG scheme can prove their PVG status to employers by showing them their online scheme results within their ScotAccount.

Sometimes, Disclosure Scotland may be required to contact your organisation via your organisation's Lead Contact. In these instances, Verifile may contact you to confirm the lead contact responsible for hiring.

You must respond to these requests as it is required under Section 19 of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
