Digital PVG Certificates - New Online Account Service - ScotAccount

Modified on Mon, 9 Feb at 2:44 PM

Disclosure Scotland has recently launched a new Online Account service for PVG result access.

ScotAccount allows individuals to access their Protected Vulnerable Group (PVG) scheme online results using their digital devices, instead of receiving a paper certificate.

Key benefits include:

  • For people working in regulated roles, a PVG disclosure gives extra reassurance to employers that they are suitable to work with children and protected adults.
  • The service is also helping to speed up the recruitment process for employers, giving organisations the information they need to make safe and fairer decisions.
  • It is user-friendly and accessible.

To use this service, applicants must set up an online account and first confirm their identity.
