When will my candidate receive a courtesy call?

Where a phone number is provided on the candidate's application, Verifile (Candidate Team) will call the candidate as a courtesy 48 hours after we send them a welcome email.

This is to ensure that the candidate has received the log in details and to answer any initial queries they may have.

Following the submission of your applicant's online form, Verifile will undertake an initial review of the information provided. This is to find out if there is any further information that is required. For example, an authority form may be required to enable us to get the candidate's employment or academic references, or we may request permission to contact an employer.

The Candidate Team will request this information by phone and follow up via email.

As the background checks progress, we may be required to confirm some details with the candidate, such as dates of employment if a referee has provided different ones to those they have stated or a copy of their certificate if an academic institute has requested it. Again, the team will reach out by phone and email to request this.
