Modified on Mon, 9 Feb at 3:00 PM

This article will provide you with further understanding regarding the process of Disclosure Scotland Level 1 checks with Verifile.

Place an order on the system for the candidate by following this link. Verifile client portal.

Once the order is placed, if you have selected the candidate entry option, your candidate will complete the online background screening form with the required information (5-year address history and personal details).

Verifile requires either you or your candidate to provide us with 2 documents in order to confirm the candidate's identity. One document must show their proof of identity and one document must show their proof of address.

Both documents must show the candidate's correct full legal name (including middle names). The proof of address must show the candidate's current address and be in date.

The enclosed document list is set out by the government, and we cannot accept documents that are not on this list.

Please find the approved list of documents in the attachment section of this article.
