How to add / remove users of the File Upload Tool

This article discusses the various File Upload User roles and how to add/remove them from the File Upload Tool.



You'll need access to the File Upload Tool https://www.verifileconnect.com.




User Types


Administrator - Controls administration of the system, including adding or removing users to it.


File Uploader - Can only upload candidate files on behalf of your company.


Instance Manager - An instance is how users select which user account to place an order under. Like choosing a user's name from a dropdown list of options (it is a dropdown list of instances). The Instance Manager is in charge of creating/removing these entries.



  • From the Admin menu, select Users.
  • You can filter by name view a user or locate a user to edit their role or to delete them, if they've left the company, for example.
  • Use the Invite button to add a new user via email whilst entering their user role and the company (instance) they will be associated with/responsible for.



Only an admin can add new users initially, but an Instance Manager can add/remove users once activated.
