If the Digital ID check has allocated a red traffic light result, one of the many reasons could be that the candidate may have begun the digital process, but then didn't provide all the required documents when they were using the Digital ID app.
You'll then see the below message.
The check page will display this message above the 'Additional Information for Final Report' box.
Digital ID check requirements (must be valid)
Basic Criminal Identity Check: Passport or Driving Licence (any countries)
Standard Criminal Identity Check: Passport and Driving Licence (any countries)
Enhanced Criminal Identity Check: Passport and Driving Licence (any countries)
Right to Work: UK or Irish Passport
