Do candidates need to send original documents?

Throughout the duration of a candidate's background checks, there may be a requirement they provide us with original documents and forms by post.

An example of this may be to enable us to run any overseas checks.

Candidates should only post original documents and forms if we have specifically asked them to do so. We will always provide them with a full explanation for the requirement of the documents being provided in this way.

If they are required to provide documents via post, we recommend using a tracking service or courier company. This is to ensure the safe delivery of their documents to us.

If they do happen to send original identity documents without prompting, we are obligated to return these.
