What are Verifile’s Quality Control procedures?

Verifile has embedded quality assurance throughout its screening process (e.g. after checking the order, dispatching the reference requests, and on receipt of the information supplied by referees).

We undertake the final quality assurance on orders once we have received all references prior to the final report being issued.

On a sample basis, we check orders to ensure they meet the defined standards in line with your SSO document. We undertake quality assurance within 1 business day of the last check being completed.

Should any additional work be required on a report prior to despatch, we will normally complete this within 1 to 2 working days of quality assurance. This extra time allows for any further responses from employers to be received, but this work is usually completed much quicker.

You will receive an email notification (if selected in your email preferences) to confirm that the report is ready to collect as soon as the report has passed quality assurance.

If Verifile receives a reference or any new information after the report has been made available to yourselves, then Verifile will add this information to the report and will send another email notification to advise that an updated report is ready to collect.
