How to return documents to Verifile

This article will advise the client on returning documents for the candidate's background screening checks. 

In order to proceed with a candidate's background check, we may require some further information, in particular any supporting documents, necessary to complete our task.

You can return documents to Verifile in a few ways.

1. Upload the document via Live Chat.

Both client and candidate can upload missing documents via a Live Chat conversation with one of the team. Live chat is found via the Background screening form, the extranet and knowledge base.

2. Returning documents via the client portal

You, as the client, can log into the client portal and upload them to any specific candidate's order.

Please see the following steps regarding how to upload documents directly onto your candidate’s files via the Verifile client portal.

1. First, go to ‘Review your orders’.
2. Locate your candidate by searching via name or VF number—Select All and search.
3. Then click on the ‘Order number’, e.g., VF123456.
4. Click on ‘Choose file’ to upload documents.
5. In the description box, write the name of the document, e.g., passport.
6. Please ensure you click on ‘Upload’

3. Both the candidate and client can email the documents to Verifile

As the client, you can return any documents to the Client Services Team by emailing to us at [email protected] or the candidate can provide the missing information by contacting our Candidate Team at [email protected].
