My candidate hasn't completed their Background Screening form

This article should assist you with the various reasons a candidate may not complete a background screening form.


1. Once you have placed an order or specific checks for your candidate, you can then log into the Verifile client portal with your login details.

2. To view specific candidates' checks and review the status of their screening checks, click on 'Review Orders'.

3. You can then search for the candidate by any of the following fields, for instance, by name or by their order number (this starts with a VF).

4. When the candidate appears, click on the VF number to open a new tab. This will then show you the status of the checks.

5. If the status shows 'awaiting candidate entry' then this means that the candidate will need to log in with the login details sent to them in their welcome email and proceed to complete the online backgrund screening form to submit it.


Note that you can also look at the top left of that check page to see when the candidate last logged in and the date that the candidate has to submit their online verification form.

6. If the candidate fails to complete the online screening form by the submission date, the system will cancel the order automatically, and you will need to place a new order.

 

If the candidate needs any help with their online screening form or needs new login details re-sent, they can contact our Candidate Team on:

We can give an extension if the candidate submits their online form, if we have been contacted and are aware of the reason. If the candidate needs extra time to complete their online screening form, then the client can contact us on:
